PCH Chorreritas: Finalist in the Blue Planet Prize

In 2024, following an intense assessment by accredited independent assessors, the Hydropower Sustainability Alliance (HSA) awarded the Silver Sustainability Certification to the PCH Chorreritas project, located in the municipality of San Andrés de Cuerquia, Colombia. Currently, PCH Chorreritas is in the construction phase and aims to generate 20 MW.

Thanks to this certification, the International Hydropower Association (IHA) has nominated us for the Blue Planet Prize as one of the top 3 PCHs in the world, highlighting the best environmental, social, technical, and innovative practices for sustainable energy generation.

We are proud to have this certification and nomination, recognizing the work done by Energo-Pro and its business unit, Energo-Pro Colombia, and challenging ourselves to continually improve.
